Music Tag. One year on...

So exactly this time last year I did the Music tag. Now I know I haven't been tagged again but I love doing these and rediscovering my old favourite tunes. I tag you to do this post!

Still the same as last year, with the loss of Oasis and the adding of Angels and Airwaves.

Drama Queen - Blink 182.

I haven't brought a CD in agess! The lastest one I had was brought for me which was Holiday Anthems.

I heard Gwen Steffani - Hollaback Girl earlier and I haven't been able to get rid of it out of my head since! 

6. What was the last single you downloaded?

Coldplay - Magic. I love it! 

7. What is your favourite band right now?

Green Day. Blink 182. Angels and Airwaves. 

8. What is your favourite type of music?

Still anything. I just love music. 

9. In your 25 most played list, what is number 10?

All That We Are - Angels and Airwaves. This song is so beautiful.

10. What was the first gig you ever went to?

James Morrison.

11. What was the best gig you've ever been to?

Pink at Alton Towers. Perfect Day & Night. 

12. If there was one band/album/song you would recommend to everyone reading, what would it be?

For this year I would definitely recommend Bastille - Bad Blood. It's such a great album & I love every single song.

Loving at the moment...

Motivation to blog.

I've been through so many phases of wanting to blog and then losing interest in a couple of weeks, I set myself the challenge of blogging every day in March and it's really made me love blogging again. I'm really hoping I don't lose interest after the challenge is over as I really do enjoy it. Having the #bbloggers chats on Twitter on Sundays is so great, get to talk to some lovely people and learn about other people's experiences about blogging. 

Breaking Bad.

I've recently just got Netflix and started watching Breaking Bad (I know I'm so late watching it) Oh my god, how good is it. I'm in the middle of Season 2 now and I am addicted to it. I won't put in any spoilers but watch it! 

Acoustic songs. 

Now I suppose this isn't really a 'at the moment' type of thing I'm loving as acoustic music is always my favourite type of music. But I suppose more particular, I'm loving one YouTuber that does acoustic covers of Blink 182 songs. I love Blink 182 and to find someone that does a hell of a lot of covers of theirs, match made in heaven. I've known of him for over 6 months now but a song he covered recently drew in my attention again.

Spring.

Isn't it lovely out right now! The nice weathers coming and it makes everything seem just a little better. Makes blogging easier with the natural sunlight making your photo's look pretty. Still a little windy out but it's not technically spring yet so the weather is forgiven, for now. The wildlife is back and the flowers are coming out, everything just looks so much more alive. Just cannot wait for summer to come along now! 

& Oliver's loving it too :)

Tunes time. Music Tag...

I have seen a few music tags the past couple of weeks floating through the blogging community, which I have got to know a few new bands, singers & different types of music from. I think it's really great discovering music you've never heard before. I thought I would jump on the bandwagon and give my 2 pence of my music taste.
I've saw two different music tags now & I have combined them together to make this post maybe a little more interesting.

1. What are your 5 favourite songs right now?
Recently I have gotten into my old favourite genre of music, well just two main bands. Green Day who have been my favourite since I was about 14 and Blink 182 who are just amazing. With Green Day having brought out 3 albums at the end of last year and start of this year, I've had a lot of songs to listen to & with Blink 182 bringing out Neighborhoods and their Dogs Eating Dogs EP, again, I've had a lot to listen to. So my five favourite songs at the moment are;

2. Who are your favourite bands/artists of all time?

Well as I've mentioned, Green Day obviously & Blink 182 take the top spots as well as Pink because I adore her. So top 6 are: (was going to be a top 5 but just couldn't decide)

Literally anything. Rock and Pop mainly but I can listen to anything. Within Moderation.

Long story but, James Morrison. This wouldn't have been my first choice, trust me.

Pink at Alton Towers. Oh my god, amazing!

12. If there was one band/album/song you would recommend to everyone reading, what would it be?

Blink 182 - Dogs Eating Dogs EP. It's just 5 songs but they are all amazing. If you're a fan of Blink or not, I'm sure their would be at least one song you would like.

Fall Out Boy,

Helloo there.
So Fall Out Boy are back again with a new single - "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light 'em Up)". Of course sticking to their long title's for songs.
After their 3 year separation to work on their solo projects, they are back with this amazing song & an Album to be released in May. With a new look, and sound i must say i am looking forward to the album titled "Save Rock and Roll".
Even though i could never make my mind up on them all those years ago when they brought out "Sugar We're Going Down" I'll definitely be giving this album a chance and a good listening to.

Song if you'd like to give it a listen & the official video... But the video isn't great i must say.
