Women wearing men's clothing. Thoughts?

Hiii, me again :)

This post shall be a little different, as you may tell from the title, it's not going to be a cross dressing post... let me explain.
I need a new pair of trainers as I'm buying a bike soon in my desperate attempt to get more fit and well, the only trainers I have are not suitable for bike riding. I was looking around and finally found a pair of Adidas Samba's that I fell in love with. I went back to the shop a few weeks later to realise they were in the Junior section - what an idiot.
I asked around for Women's Samba's and no where had them in stock, I Googled them when I got home and to what I've found is that Adidas do not make Samba's for women. How annoying they make them for men, juniors and even babies, but not women.
Ohh, how sad :(

But to the point of this post, I went back into the shop and found the men's Samba's. I tried them on in my size and I do love them. I think they looked good and so did my boyfriend who was with me when I tried them on at the time.

Kristen Stewart wearing my Sambas.

My question, would you think they would look weird seeing a women wear men's trainers?
I don't think they look man-ish at all, what do you think?

  1. I love Kristen!! :D I think that you should definitely wear them. I mean, if they look good and are comfortable, who cares it is from the men section? It is their fault after all. So get them!!

  2. I say 'what the hell, go for it!' If you love these trainers and you look good in them, then you should definitely buy them! I have no shame when it comes to wearing men's clothes, I'm always in the men's section in Primark scouting out new hoodies and jumpers.

I hope you enjoy bike riding in your new Sambas!

  3. Hell no! They're a great pair of trainers and if anything they look unisex! Plus, who's really going to know? I buy men's clothes sometimes if I'm honest, so I don't see the harm in trainers if you like them! (:
